A Fire Within and Other Stories

A Fire Within and Other Stories is an anthology of short stories, written by award-winning authors from across Africa, to highlight or address the African continent's social and political issues, including but not limited to women in leadership, early marriage, corruption, gender violence, poverty, climate change, human rights, mental health, unemployment, cyberbullying, etc. The collection has short stories set in different countries in Africa and is divided into two main parts: The short story and the  Topics for discussion – the anthology links the author’s message in each short story to the issues facing various African countries. Readers can discuss multiple issues (social, political, and economic) based on the prompts in this section.
