Tropical Fish follows the lives of three very different sisters. Patti, the middle sister, suffers humiliation at boarding school and eventually finds her peace in religion. The oldest sister Rosa, is a sexually precocious teenager with a feisty personality, however this promiscuous lifestyle catches up with her and she dies of HIV/AIDS complication.
