The entire workshop runs for five Saturdays. It is patterned after graduate school classes in creative writing. Each session is three hours long and completely interactive.

It’s a new dawn for African literature with the introduction of the Baobab Prize, an international literary award that encourages the writing of African stories for young readers (readers aged 8 – 15 years).

UNICEF is presently updating and improving its supplier database with a list of writers and editors.

Moderators will receive a stipend of $1,000 per month.They should have a strong background in agricultural development, and preference given to those with experience in Africa and with women’s issues.

We are looking for 3 winners. To receive £500 (approx $750) each
