Doreen Baingana – Managing Editor
Doreen Baingana is the Managing Editor of Storymoja. She has a law degree from Makerere University, Kampala, and an MFA from the University of Marlyland; USA.She has won the Associated writers and Writing programs Award in the Short fiction, the Washington Independent Writers Fiction prize, and was nominated twice for the Caine Prize in the African Writing. Her book, Tropical Fish, is distributed by Storymoja.
Martin Njaga – Sales and Marketing
Martin Njaga is the author of Brethren of Ngondu and in charge of sales and distribution at Storymoja. He holds a degree in Business Management and a Masters in Communication. He also keeps three pet geese at home and is currently lobbying his boss to be allowed to bring the baby goose to the office with him. His book Brethren of Ngondu was released in November 2008 and is available in book stores in Kenya.
Juliet Maruru - Online Content Editor
Juliet Maruru is a writer, online content manager and editor. She runs and manages the Storymoja Blog and website. She is passionate about creative writing and reading. When she is not working with the Storymoja online forums she is working with kids, learning and discovering with them the art of creative writing, and the wonder of words. She also authors the blog She Blossoms
Mary Wanjiku Karanja - Corporate Sales
Mary Wanjiku works in the Corporate Sales Department at Storymoja. She is Kenyan by birth and Nigerian by adoption and choice. She does not ascribe to any religion but has a faith. Her best read is the bible. She passes time eating and eating more, and keeps a trim figure while she is at it! She reads a lot of political writings too!! She always remembers her two lovely children.

Isaac Mburu – Retail Sales
Isaac holds a first degree in Bachelor of Commerce, Finance from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and still craving for more. It has always been his personal dream to join a company that has big dreams, that has people with ambition. So it was not difficult to fall in love with Storymoja. He likes to think of himself as a future philosopher who has come up with a game that’ll probably be puzzling to everybody, very soon. Watch out! He is learning how to play around with words and don’t be surprised to read his name on book covers.
