Wasafiri New Writing Prize 2010 – Competition Now Open

Following the success of the very first Wasafiri New Writing Prize in 2009, the 25th anniversary year of the literary magazine, the competition is now in its second year and is accepting new entries.
The competition is open to anyone worldwide who has not published a complete book. The magazine are looking for creative submissions in three categories: Poetry, Fiction and Life Writing. Three winners (one from each category) will win £300 and their winning entries will be published in Wasafiri.
This year’s judges are Romesh Gunesekera (Fiction), Moniza Alvi (Poetry), and Marina Warner (Life Writing), and the Chair is Susheila Nasta.
To enter, simply complete the entry form and return it (by post or email to n.a.jones@open.ac.uk) with an entry fee of £5 by the deadline of 30 July 2010.
