IMAGINE AN AFRICA…

Imagine an Africa – vibrant and strong
Her countenance bright
Her virtue, her praise – her song
Imagine an Africa – where TRUTH and justice reign
Nobility inbred
Pulsating in every Africans vein
Imagine an Africa – living at peace
Her resources invested within
No foreigners to fleece
Imagine an Africa – whose vastness of wealth
Protects her peoples interests
Her sons and daughters not burdened with self
Imagine an Africa – that could harness her prowess
Branding her name
Among other continents dominance
Imagine an Africa – that summons great respect
For from her sons and daughters
Emerge a wealth of intellect
Imagine an Africa – that lends to nations
Her pride intact
Not steep to neo colonization
Imagine an Africa – vibrant and strong
Her countenance bright
Her virtue, her praise – her song
Africans we must and we can
Draw from the pictures we shape in our minds
Demand
To live our dreams – and be one of a kind
African – fierce
Fierce – African
(Inspired by the fact that Africa is not cursed)
