You might strike lucky and your rambling might actually be interesting to the writer, but if you are not that lucky, you will bore your reader, and put them off your work.

“Dear Mr. Death please consider me for your next shipment from planet earth, Amen”. They came again, this time sent by Mr. Death. The python coiled around her bony body and as it squeezed her she thanked Mr. Death for answering her prayer.

Good writing allows the writer to be taken seriously, and being taken seriously is always important in communicating ideas. If a person’s writing is awkward and clumsy, readers get the mistaken notion the person is that way, too.

Organizing a 3-day literary festival for the first time is a very difficult thing but it is more difficult if you have never attended such an event.
