A breath-taking story. It's such a gem though it seems to bash men. Did Lucas just stray coz men are supposed to stray? No!! and this is what so many of our women never understand. Thanks Muthoni for this eye opener. No defense for the sucker. It's so refreshing to read the last line: "it was Friday and it promised to be a long night." The self-discovery is great. Can only hope that Lucas won't have to wait for Fridays AFTER THIS!!!!!!!!

The revelations of the heart come by in the least expected places, catalysed by the least anticipated moments, by the man struggling to bounce down the street in spite of his aching limbs, by the sun conceitedly hiding its light so we can beg for its warmth, by the moon displaying its glorious light, while we sleep.

And for her, the philosopher poet's musk...
