Hey, thanks for your comments guys.
@George: In a sense you have a point about presenting the ideal and rosy at the end. But my thought here was that life isn't rosy all the time and it would be escapist to tie it up in that nice fairy tale end so i ended it differently. Because this is the reality of these times and we need to face up to it. This is us, we are, as seeds of grain says ;-) 'Wahanyaji'. This story is the everyday happening around us. In a way it captures the historical moment of today, shows how sexual attitudes have shifted, changed etc. It's a depiction of 'urban love'.
@Millie: You sweet thang! Thanks. What happens? You're giving me ideas- ngojea sequel.
@Mwendwa: Ideas, ideas..... the idea of sequel following up is sounding more tempting by the minute. If i do it i will definitely post it up here again and let you know. Thanks for your kind words.
@Seeds of grain: Hahahaha!! Whats the moral? Hmmmmm... This is a philosophical question, related to the philosophy of fiction (allow me to go nerdy here). I was taught that every story must have a moral but these days my view is one should just write the story and let everyone deduce their own thing. If it's a moral, life lesson, new insight or whatever, it's all good.
Thanks everyone, really appreciate your comments, they are so very encouraging.

I like alot.it captivated me to the end.but i wish it was longer.work on it and make it a longer short story.maybe follow sam and shiru to zanzibar, tell mre of what happens to her relationship with ivan as a result of both their infidelities. I disagree with george.its good you've shown in this story that most women do contemplate and even give in to cheating when they find out their partners have cheated. Good work

Hi, the story started very well and it captivates the reader so much that you feel you can not stop reading. The morol of the story is well much with todays world where infidelity and HIV infection is rapid. But the conclusion brings more trouble to the reader by giving a solusion which is not very much appealing.Sam sending Shiru sms and instead of Shiru declining she gives in, this give the reader more alternatives in relationship. What if you could have champion on the issue of one man one woman relationship? Any way i love the work keep it up. God bless you.
